1. How far in advance should I book my party or function?
It is recommended that you book your party much in advance when you know the exact date and time you would like your character to arrive. This will give you the best possible chance at getting the timing you would like.
2. What methods of payment do you accept and what is your payment policy?
Currently we accept checks and money orders two weeks in advance before your party or we accept cash only on the day of your party in the exact amount as our staff cannot make change.
If you choose to pay on the day of your party, our Funtastic Assistant will collect payment 5 minutes before start time.
3. Do you offer a discount if I would like more than one character at my function?
Yes we do! If you have multiple characters at the same time, we offer a $20 discount off of the second, third, fourth character and so on.
4. What happens if I have a party and all my guests are arriving late?
Unfortunately we have a schedule to follow and will still have to start on time to ensure that we are on time for all of our parties.
5. Do you only offer children's parties?
Goodness no, we do grand openings, restaurant kids nights, church, library, and school functions, and absolutely love surprising adults with our characters. We DO NOT however do any parties of an "adult" nature. We are strictly a family oriented business.
6. What is your service area?
Most of our customers are in our driving range however we do have a few customers who ar enot local. We drive for a total of one hour for free. This hour consists of time to your location and back. If you are beyond a total of 1 hour, we charge $37.50 for an additional half hour and $75 for an additinal hour and so forth. We are located in Feeding Hills, MA. You will be able to determine your driving fee based on this location.
6. What is your cancellation policy?
You may cancel your booking with no cancellation fee as long as you cancel one week in advance of your function. However if you cancel within one week of your party, a $50 cancellation fee will apply. In the event of inclement weather, the Director of Funtastic Character will make a determination on whether or not it is safe for the staff to be driving. In the event it is deemed safest to cancel, you will either have the option of a full refund, or another party date.
7. Should I tip the character?
Tips are appreciated by the staff, but are in no way expected. You are already paying a fee for great entertainment.
8. Do you go to parks?
Yes we do. Payment in full is due two weeks before your function if your party is located at a park along with park admission if the park charges an entrance fee.
9. Do you provide the music with your own player?
YES!
